Jan Sunwai Sammelan held at Metengliang Circle,Anjaw

Along with State the Anjaw District, also conducted Jan Sunwai Sammelan at remote Circle of Metengliang on 01.07.2018 in presence of huge gathering in spite of rainy conditions. While addressing the sammelan Smti Mamata Riba, DC. Anjaw, highlighted the aim and objectives of the programme that is Govt. at doorsteps of villagers. Along with the DC all the HOD’s of Anjaw District participated in the Sammelan and addressed the huge gathering. During the Sammelan different deptts. installed respective stall at Circle Office premises where distribution of seeds, by Agriculture Deptt. and KVK Anjaw, subsidized bulbs by APEDA, distribution of Veterinary medicines by DVO, registration under ICDS for National Social Assistance Programme(NSAP), medical camp under DMO was held at Metengliang including plantation by HODs and public leaders at recently inaugurated Metengliang CO Office, staff quarter and guest house by Forest Deptt.DC inaugurating the Sammelan, requested all the Public to take advantage of this new initiative of State Govt. She also explained the various Govt. schemes including insurance coverage through Governmental schemes. Newly appointed GBs for Metengliang Circle were also given certificates with Red coats. Dwelling on opium cultivation, she appealed the people to adopt alternative viable crops.
The Labour Officer Shri J. Krong highlighted the facilities available to labour from APB&OCWWB and also requested labour to registered themselves in the district offices to avail the benefits.Shri Pokling Tayeng, who had taken the charge of DDSE, Anjaw District on 27/06/2018 requested the parents to be concerned about their children education and cooperate with the schools in the villages and the department to provide best possible educational facilities of the Govt. to the students. He also highlighted Flagship programme of Govt. of India and Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.Shri W. Chautang, DPO gave information about the new system of accounting and monitoring of the scheme so that transparency is ensured in the public service delivery.The K.H. Navin, Jr. Scientist KVK spoke about the agricultural pattern to be followed in the circle considering the local soil, topography and climatic condition.Shri Chono Tindya former Anchal Samiti Chairperson 2-Chaglongam Block thanking the Government of Arunachal Pradesh requesting the visiting officers to work for the development of the area and speed up long pending PMGSY road by taking up at the appropriate authority for early completion.Shri Khelosa Talyo, Ex ZPM, appealed to DC for infrastructural development of CDPO office to in both the Circles, Changlongam and Metengliang. CDPO, Hayuliang Shri Kara Juna Tebe, while thanking the Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh under the Chief Minister for the initiative, called upon all stakeholders to take advantage of the Jan Sunwai Sammelan which is going to be held on 1st of every month.
